All right, I have never been one to "lay it all out there", but I figure why not hit everyone at once. I am guessing it will help me deal with stupid shit I keep bottled up all the time. So this is my jornal on the web. No it is not a BLOG because I hate the damn word. Well here we go, I will try to update it daily for the 3 people who come to my website.

Bored, so bored. For some reason I have been reading every Kurt Vonnegut book I can get my hands on, which isn't too tough since ever bookstore in America has at least two of his works. And so on.

X-Mas is right around the corner, yay, I am hoping to get a few gift certificates to Best Buy so I can purchase a new digital camera. I have never owned a "film" camera, except for a handful of disposables.

Oh, Saddam was captured today, lets see what else, I cleaned up my apartment and sorted old check stubs. Yeah I live the life don't I? Now I am off to dinner and a movie with some friends, should be fun. Later!

Well someone decided to crap in my cornflakes this morning. First I woke up late and had about 4 minutes to shower and get my clothes on. So then I get out to my car and the damn windshield is covered with frost, so I start the car and scrape it quickly. I am thinking sweet, I am still doing good on time.

I am crusing down 494 heading east to work when, BOOM, CRACK, CRUSH! Damn. I hit something and I have a feeling it was the crappy ice that was built up under the front passenger tire. It let go at the wrong time and made a sound like a landmine ripping through a china shop.

So I get to work, walk back to see what happened and I can hear a hiss coming from the tire. F. I thought about jacking up the car right then but I only had about 2 minutes to make it to a meeting and I was parked about a quarter mile from the building.

Well now that it is 9am my day could get better right? Well, it stayed pretty neutral but I did get my tire fixed for free (Tires Plus tire protection plan) and a free drink from Caribou Coffee. Everyone is so nice there. Enough of my bitching, later.

X-Mas is over and I am glad for that. I got some books that I wanted and a Digital Camera from Canon. It was a good X-Mas. My Grandpa was sick so I wasn't able to see him on the 25th so I went to visit him yesterday. He has pneumonia but seems to be doing better than I had heard he was. He was up and around and eating and coughing, but all seemed to be well.

Back to the digital camera, I am sure you will be seeing more and more pictures on this site well because I have already taken about 200 pictures with it. So I will start posting them soon. Gotta go. Bye!

So it is only now I can talk about how every year the Vikings break my heart. While talking with a friend today we came to a conclusion that they are indeed cursed. This is how I think it happened... Both the old Metropolitan Stadium and the Metrodome are built near the banks of rivers in Minnesota on old Native American land. While building the Met's they must have disrupted old scared indian ground and upset the spirits of their ancestors and are cursed until this day.

I think the Vikings could use this as a ploy to get a new stadium somewhere away from burial grounds and other sacred Native American land. Red McCombs could be quoted as saying, "Yes, it is true that the team is cursed, we need a new stadium and a witch doctor to break the curse.", "Oh, and a virgin sacrifice, yeah." Maybe next year...Or they can move and we will all be Packers fans...Next year...

Oh James Lileks has a cool website and writes some pretty funny stuff about Minnesota and has a bunch of cool pictures of Mpls old and new on it.

New Years Eve. Joy. I am going down to a friends house tonight to watch the clocks turn to 12:00. The clocks are not the important part, I can watch a clock blink 12:00 constantly on my VCR. The important part is to remember to write 2004 on all my checks and notes that I take or I will really mess myself up!

Right now the government is locking down NYC just in case something might happen, they are doing it in Vegas too. Silly bastards. What could happen? So I think I am addicted to reading. I can't stop at night. I went to the library last night and I got two more Vonnegut books, Timequake and God Bless you Dr. Kevorkian. I really liked Timequake, finished in in a few hours. God Bless was at most okay. Took about 15 minutes to get through that one and I started Candide by Voltaire before I actually fell asleep.

Candide is good so far except it leaves you wondering about a lot of things. It is not as descriptive as most novels are now days, but I like that, gets you wondering and using your imagination. Yay for imagination! Everyone have a good New Year! *
