New! May 28th 2004
Hi All- I know I have been slacking but trust me, I have been way busy. I posted some pictures of sweet paintball action on tarded.net/paintball. We did a lot of shooting and everyone seemed to have a great time, I think everyone went through an average of 2000 paintballs. Most of which hit trees or twigs.

In other news I am an uncle now and you can see a picture of my nephew. What a handsome young man just like his uncle. He weighed in at 6 pounds and 11.7 ounces, 19 inches long.

It looks like the T-Wolves aren't doing so hot right now, the Lakers have found their game and are playing us really tough, but I know KG can pull it together and get it done. Well I hope so anyway. Well it's time for a long weekend, see ya Tuesday maybe.

The Timberwolves won in overtime last night against the Sac Kings. It is a hell of a matchup. Good games. I was at The Mall yesterday. It is so amazing to see that place next to empty on a Monday night compared to a weekend. Let me simulate a Saturday there. Pretend you are standing in a hallway that is 20 feet wide. Your goal is to pass everyone in the hall and get to a store.

On the left hand side you have old people, they are predictable, they walk slow and stop often. When you see a bench that is where they stop. Easy, avoid the left side if you need to get through.

Middle? Fat, urban women in small, tight shirts with fat rolls hanging out over their too tight jeans so you can't see their belt talking way to loud with kids running everywhere. The middle is impossible to pass through without pushing fatties or knocking down ghetto kids. Sometimes the kids stop dead in their tracks and you need to do the shuffle step/jump to avoid them. Also you need to pay attention to the stores you are passing, this group makes a hard turn into Marshall's and you will get run over.

And on the right you have the tourists and the double-wides. The double-wides. By this I mean strollers. They are the moms pushing their kids around The Mall. They are totally unpredictable. They can stop and turn in a matter of milliseconds if they see a deal at Lane Bryant and running your damn foot over. Trust me on this one. Don't take the route with the strollers. The tourists are very perdictable, they slow down and turn in to shops a lot. This is why they hover on the right. The tourists are the easiest way to cut through, use them.

Well there is your guide to The Mall on weekends. My advice, go on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Later kids.

Alright. I don't usually do movie reviews but I felt compelled to do this one. On Friday evening I saw Van Helsing. I am your typical movie guy who would love this kind of movie. How can you go wrong with Vampires and Werewolves? Damn, this went wrong.

To start off I am pretty sure this movie was initially written by 8th graders. The dialogue was horrible, stumbling, and predicable. I felt like I knew every line in the movie before it was said. As for the acting, the only believable acting was done by Frankenstein's Monster. Throughout the whole movie I felt I was watching a high school production. It looked to be shot on the first take every time. Bad.

The special effects were cool, the monsters were okay, and the story could have been awesome if they would have put some effort into this. Dracula looked retarded. They should have gotten someone that looked the part. If you look at John Carpenter's Vampires, that guy was damn scary, I wouldn't want him chasing after me. In Van Helsing, this guy looked like my friends uncle Elmer. You need to make your monsters look scary. Make Dracula look scary, not like The Count from Sesame Street.

The Werewolves were good. They looked scary, and I am sure if I would have ran into one I would die. Nice Job. Okay, something else I just though of. Dracula has a bunch of hatchelings that he is trying to bring to life. Okay, I am putting on my directors hat now, lets see if we can make them look like Pound Puppies with wings, that would be frightening wouldn't it? No. It would suck. So stop that crap.

I am done with this for now, I am sure I will remember other parts that pissed me off later. Have a day people, have a day.

What a busy day. I am just about to leave work and wanted to get this updated. Light Rail is back on track and will be opening up 8 miles of the 12 mile line on June 26th. They are going to be offering free rides on the line that weekend, so if you are in the Twin Cities area hop on. Well more specifically Minneapolis.

The T-Wolves broke my heart last night. I was hoping they would whoop the Kings last night in the house that KG built. But it didn't seem like Kevin brought his game, just the MVP trophy. Sam Cassell showed up and nailed his second opening gave 40 point performance. That man can hit the 3's. Well I better bolt, later folks.

Thanks to Google I have already made 63¢ in only one day! At this rate I am going to make almost $230 dollars this year off of my stupid websites that no one reads. Well if you want to you can click on the Google Ad links and help the peteryan.com foundation for making pete richer and less poor(pfmpralp).
I have been working on my Post-it Note website dedicated to the super stickyness of the new Super Sticky Post-it Notes. I am hoping to have it done this week some time. Well I better go work, but have a great day. -pete

Google today deemed my site worth of hosting ads and PSA's. My first ads were for a liberal website that looked like it was designed by some nutjob. And some stupid conservative rag.
Crazy Liberal: Liberal News
Conservative Crap: Crap
See? I now realize why the right is so much stronger. They have better web developers and more money for google ad words. ;)

Did I mention that I love iTunes. Why is it so damn addicting? I never had this addiction when I used Kazaa, I just want to keep downloading, finding, and creating playlists. It is weird. Well back to work. -p
