Every time CNN posts a "Breaking News" I think that they are just bad coders. See it looks like they doubled up the last part of HTML code, the >. I am sure about 2 people will understand this post so eh, whatever. Also... We get our turkeys today from work. I am sure I am just going to give it to mom again. Hear that mom, make room. :) Also.... Anne and I are planning on hitting up the IKEA tomorrow when she gets into town, then maybe hit the Walker to check out the Warhol stuff. Also..... I think I have carpal tunnel in my left thumb, the little bitch hurts today. later. -p

Snow Blows.
I am not ready for snow yet. I had to learn how to do the old man/penguin walk all over again last night in the snow/ice/wind. Not very fun. I can see how people who have never walked on ice can automatically fall on their ass immediately. There is a delicate balance of foot control. You can't use your toes to push off on ice or come down on your heel. You have to stay flat footed or bam, IceAssed. Neither one of my car doors wanted to open this AM. I had to lift the handle and try to cram my fat fingers in the slim crack that was made available to me. I was able to get the passenger door open and then with a little work the drivers side. Eh, anyway, I am tired at here at work now. Well back to work. -pete EDIT: Anne got spelling fussy.

Sven the Bike
Meet Sven. It is my "new" bike. It is an early 80's(I think) Schwinn World Sport. I got it for $30 and put about $45.00 into it. I had some other parts around so it wasn't that expensive to fix up. I learned a bunch about wheels and how bad I am at truing them. I need to leave that to the pros. So here are the specs on the sucker: -Steel frame and fork -Aluminum rims laced to Suzue hubs -ACS Claws 18t freewheel -54t chain ring -Sugino GT Cranks -Continental UltraSport tires with Specialized tubes(27x1 1/4) -SRAM PC48 Chain with PowerLink -Front brake only(Stock Schwinn) -Crappy seat(Will be replaced soon) -Pedals with cages(Off my old Specialized Rockhopper) -Handlebars(Stock Schwinn, no tape) Top speed so far on flat land: 26mph Weight: 19.1 Lbs Well good night everyone. -pete EDIT: I determined that the bike was built on the 328th day in 1981. So my sister isn't much older than this bike. :)

Neat!
Okay this is pretty cool. http://www.actionsquad.org/-pete
I can't believe it is already freaking November. It is getting cold too. I got my brakes done on the car this yesterday, $407.06 later I have sweet braking. About $300 of that is new rotors to replace the shitty ones Mitsubishi decided to put on my sweet ride. I have to tell you, if you have never experanced warped rotors it can be a real adventure. The car shakes every time you step on the brakes. Not a little, but a lot. Tons. The steering wheel wants to rip outta your hands. Ah Well. The car has 90,000 miles on it and this is the first set of pad it went through. The rears are still over 50%. Yay. Not much else new for you so here is a sweet pixelized image. mmm.. Pixels. -pete
