I am Pete Ryan, you may have heard of me...No? Did you find something with peteryan.com labeled on it? I would really like to have it back and there may be a reward! pete at peteryan dot com
This is my little spot on the web where I spew words either every day or a few times a year. Who knows.
So I wanted a new cordless drill/driver. I had one that my Dad bought me years back but the battery was dead and didn't want to hold a charge anymore. So Anne and I hit the Home Depot in Bloomington to take a look around. I did a little research before hand and had an idea of what I wanted but wasn't 100% sure. I wanted something nice and I wanted it to work for whatever I wanted it to do. Anne convinced me to get what I wanted so I wound up getting the DeWalt DC759KA. It is an 18V beast with a 1/2" chuck weighing in at a little over 5 lbs. It removed screws very well and I am excited to us it to build/fix stuff.

On another note, Junk Brothers on HGTV rocks. Check it out men.

Anne, Fredo, and I hit Lake Nokomis today to play in the snow and watch some pond hockey. We didn't really watch much of the pond hockey but we did play in the snow. It was really nice out today, about 25 degrees, light snow, and no wind. Fred liked sliding on the ice and eating snowballs thrown at him. We enjoy the lake and are all looking forward to moving closer to it some time soon. Can't wait to get into a house around here!
Here is the
rest of the Set.
Later!

Happy New Year everyone!
Cycling Update:December: 422.73 miles
I know I could have knocked out 500+ easily but I took a week off for x-mas in SoDak and didn't ride at all while I was there.
Goal for Jan: 550 miles.
Knocked out 22 last night before bed time. To reach my January goal I have to average 17.75 miles a day. So I should be good if I average a little more than an hour a day.
Total for 2006: 1627.02 miles.
422.73 - December
451.71 - November
86.00 - October
45.02 - September
55.11 - August
47.71 - July
125.53 - June
87.26 - May
229.25 - April
30.02 - March
30.58 - February
16.10 - January
I have already surpassed my January total from last year and hope to have matched last years mileage before the end of March.
On another note, I have put more miles on my bike than on the Mitsubishi in the last 2 months. Happy New Year again!
